Work Alone Protection requires the feature to be enabled for the organisation and an active configuration assigned to the user. Agree on contact persons and the check-in procedure before enabling it.

  1. Open the Work Alone Protection settings and select Add Configuration.
  2. Enter the name, description and Interval (minutes).
  3. Check the message language and content and the backup email addresses.
  4. Set the time zone, days, times and number of redial attempts.
  5. Add the primary and emergency contact details.
  6. Assign the correct mobile users to the configuration.
  7. Review Confirm enable – Contact information and save the configuration intended to be active.

Check phone numbers and contact persons' responsibilities together with them. An incorrect number or time zone affects how an alarm is handled.

The user must still start their own session in the mobile app. Adding a user to a configuration does not mean they have an active session. On first use, check that the feature is visible and verify the session status.
