Recurrence suits regular inspections of a device, or Spot. Choose the scheduling basis before putting the work into use.
- Open Repetition and scheduling settings on a task or template.
- Select the recurrence number and interval. Check that together they give the intended maintenance interval.
- Select Recurrence type: Retains original schedule or Continues from completion time.
- Check allowed weekdays where that option is available.
- Save and check the first due date, Spot and responsible party.
Retaining the original schedule keeps maintenance on its planned rhythm. Continuing from completion uses the completion time when determining the next occurrence. Choose according to whether maintenance follows a calendar rhythm or an interval after the previous completion.
Allowed days affect which days tasks are created for. Do not leave them empty if you expect tasks on every day.
Check the next task after the first completion. If timing differs from expectations, check recurrence type, interval and weekdays before changing the shared template. Operating-hour maintenance is configured separately using an hourly maintenance template.
