How do I record products entering and leaving stock?

Use a warehouse event when products arrive or are issued. For a purchase order delivery, receive from that order so its delivery status updates too.

1. Select Buy to warehouse in warehouse events.
2. Select warehouse, slot and product.
3. Enter quantity and purchase price information. Check any discount and arrival date.
4. Add an explanatory description and save.
5. Check the new balance and purchase batch.

For sales, select Sell from warehouse. Choose the warehouse and slot, enter quantity and required price and customer details, and save.

Deductions use purchase batches according to the warehouse's usage principle. Check stock in the selected slot. If receipt shows a notice about previously undeducted products, check those events too: the arrival may affect their processing.

Stocktaking reconciles the recorded balance with reality. It does not need to replace an ordinary receipt.
