Open the service request type you want to change in service request settings. Check creation, browser handling and mobile visibility separately.
- Select a Manager role for handling requests in the browser.
- Add Manager observers if needed. Select Allow adding comments and attachments if observers should be able to add information.
- Use Limit rights to create service requests and specify Roles with rights to create requests to restrict creation.
- Check Usable in mobile application and the mobile responsible and observer roles.
- Configure visibility for open and On hold requests and editing rights for On hold requests as needed.
- Save and check the settings with the intended roles.
Allowing observers to comment and attach files does not give them the same handling rights as the responsible manager role. Closing a request may still be blocked, for example.
Show open service requests on mobile makes requests available to selected mobile roles. Without this setting, open requests are not visible in the same way by default.
Used on public form applies to the default form. Separately configured Public forms use their own type and Spot selections. Also check form settings if a type unexpectedly appears or is missing for an external user.
