Seeing a function, viewing its data and changing it may require different settings. Start with the user's details and check both browser and mobile roles.

  1. Check that the required feature is enabled for the organisation.
  2. Open the user's roles and check read and edit permissions for the function.
  3. Check permissions for the folder associated with the device, or Spot.
  4. For a service request, also open its service request type's role settings.
  5. Save the required change and check the user's view again.

A service request type's manager role, manager viewers and mobile roles affect handling. Creation permissions and visibility of open and On hold requests can be restricted separately.

Worktime tracking has its own permissions. Approving hours recorded against a task or service request also checks permission to change that work item. Seeing a report does not always grant permission to change all its entries.

If another user or role is missing from a selection list, check the manager role's Visibility to Manager Users and Visibility to Mobile Users. This affects selections such as assigning responsibility.
