First determine whether sign-in is blocked entirely or whether some information is missing after sign-in. These situations are checked in different places.

  1. As an administrator, open the user's details and verify their email address.
  2. Check that they have access to the application they are using: mobile or admin portal.
  3. Check Account locked and, if needed, Check user's logs.
  4. If sign-in succeeds, confirm the tenant, roles and folder permissions.
  5. Check the missing task or service request's own visibility settings.

Password reset helps with a forgotten regular password. If your organisation uses a separate sign-in service, also confirm that the user selects the correct sign-in method.

User details include separate actions for sending sign-in details and single sign-on links. Check the recipient's address before using them.

Removing multi-factor authentication for a user is a separate action. The application indicates that the user will enable it again at their next sign-in. Use this only to resolve that authentication problem, not to fix a missing Spot's visibility.
